What is Domain Name?
A domain name is a unique name that identifies your website on the internet. It is the text that a user types into a browser window to reach a particular website.
Example- domain name for google is google.com
The actual address of a website is a complex numerical IP address but thanks to DNS, the users are able to enter human friendly domain names and be routed to the website they are looking for.
So Domain name is human readable version of IP address.
